Achieving accreditation demands a high level of dedication and effort. More than 3,600 ambulatory health care organizations (those providing health care on an outpatient basis), including dental practices, across the U.S. are accredited by AAAHC. Not all organizations seek accreditation and not all undergoing the on-site survey are granted accreditation.
